Dana Apgar
Dana’s
career in fitness began in 1995 when he became interested in
becoming an amateur bodybuilding coach. Since then he has
trained scores of successful bodybuilders, triathletes,
celebrities, and of course some very interesting everyday
hometown folk. Dana holds national certifications through the
Aerobic and Fitness Association of American and the North
American Body Building Federation. He teaches yoga, Spinning,
kickboxing and “Super-secret-gutwrenching-abs-of-steel”. Dana is
an accomplished yogi in the Ashtanga practice and has trained
with some of the world's foremost instructors including David
Swenson and K. Pattabhi Jois. He also has had the opportunity to
train with Rodney Yee and Richard Freeman. Dana graduated from
the Vermont Police Academy in 1997 and currently administers
fitness assessments and training to law enforcement personnel
with local departments.
A short time
ago Dana’s training philosophies, which involve balancing
strength and cardiovascular training with nutrition, caught the
attention of “QUEST:
Investigating Our World.” This six part television
series is produced by Maine PBS and is broadcast throughout New
England. Dana has also appeared on “48HOURS with Dan Rather and
is the author of “ON THE BALL…….
A fitness commentary.”

motivation, Dana’s kind and thoughtful approach to fitness could

Patricia (Pat) Kent
Patricia Kent personally lost over 40 pounds several years ago
and founded her own coaching business, Beyond Expectations
Coaching. She has two accredited ACE certifications; Personal
Trainer and Lifestyle and Weight Management Consultant. She
recently attained her NESTA certification for Fitness Lifestyle
Coach. She lectures locally and has also been published in local
newspapers and business journals. You can find more information

In her spare time she reads, spends time with her fiance,
Mike and their Pug, Shou Yi, rides horses, and of course works
out every day.

Tara
Keve
Tara's love of fitness
began 18 years ago after the birth of her first child. She
found that maintaining a personal fitness routine contributed to
her success with family, career and recreation. Strength training,
running, and group fitness classes have always been of interest
to Tara, but most recently she has found a passion for yoga and
Spinning®. In fact, after having practiced Ashtanga yoga
for the past five years, Tara completed a week-long intensive teacher
training this summer with David Swenson, one of the foremost Ashtanga
teachers of our time. She is so excited to be sharing her
knowledge and passion with you.In
addition, Tara is also a certified Spinning® instructor as well
as a certified personal trainer. She is looking forward to
sharing her vast knowledge with our members through teaching, weight
room orientations, setting up workout routines for those struggling
with doing that themselves, and of course through personal training.
Tara
lives in Shelburne, and loves skiing, sailing, and hiking with her
husband Zoltan, and their three children. She is an avid gardener,
soccer mom and cook. |
